Novels

One day I found myself losing me and my brothers wallet. So scrambled my room to find it instead I found myself throwing all my pocketbooks on the floor. I then realize i really do have a lot of pocketbooks!! Of course i can't help myself and took a photo of it.Most of my pocketbooks are The Stallion Riding Club series by Precious Hearts Romance and Nora Robert's novels. To be honest i did not even know when i was young that I would enjoy reading novels. It all started when my dad bought me Fly Away Home by Kimberly Cates. It took one whole summer for me to finish this story now it all takes a day for me to finish one novel.

The pictures of the pocketbooks.

Thought: I've always thought this fascination is really amazing especially considering where I've started.

My Start of Summer

Its been quite a while since school was out. Wonder what I've been doing? well, I've been hanging out with my mom and my brothers. We seem to watch a movie together every Saturdays after eating lunch at Greenwich ( they're affordable and yummy ). In these times there are always a lot of laughs and we can totally just talk. It sort of strengthen our bonds. me and my mom especially since we always go window shopping or I just accompany her to wherever. One of these hang out sessions with my mom was sitting in the "park" in front of Glorietta 4 just after going to Bench G5.

Here are some of the pictures I took of that day.
Thought: Aren't days of just sitting and relaxing becoming very rare these days?

Good lighting + Good Location = Happiness

This post is about a "shoot" me and Irish had.

We had to shoot her for her audition for something, which didn't come through because if time issues.
That day was spent around campus, shooting. i think I made three post with pictures just that day.
Just when I was on the edge of my "creative" mind, we found this place on the side of on of the buildings at school that was just PERFECT. Why was it perfect you ask. Well, one if because it was just what we were trying to find, for that unique pictures we want.It called for edgy clothing unfortunately we weren't able to deliver since Irish was dressed like a 'hippie' and me, I was dress more for the-behind-the-camera.Second, is because the lighting was so good. The light hit all the right spot, hitting all the things we wanted it to showcase. I've always thought lighting was a very important aspect in photography. Now I'm trying to recall where I learned that. :P
Third, was the air. It was a really small space and when the air blew, it really blew! It was such a magnificent addition to our shoot. It gave the edge we were wanting.

Unfortunately, just when I was so excited to view all the pictures on my laptop did I found out that the pictures were not in good quality as it seemed in the camera. Oh well... BTW these are all pictures of Irish because I did not want to post my pictures here :P

Vanity

Have you ever noticed that a floor in a mall/department store can be totally occupied by only make-up/beauty/wellness products? In fact both SM and Landmark ( Makati ) is has/in the process of improving this section of their stores. This is one proof of how vain people can be. Even in times of financial hardships people still wants to look good, so as an article in  The Huffington Post suggests never underestimate women's vanity.

For those who are curious, these are "our (mine and Irish's) vanity kit".

Pictures

Pictures ,they say , says a thousand words. This is absolutely true. A visual perspective of things makes it easier to make messages come across. Even for me, there is a such a difference with pictures and words. That is why i sometimes I prefer looking at just pictures and don't mind reading the words anymore.

This are some of the sites that I check up on to just view pictures: (These are also my top favorites :) )

The Big Picture-http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/
The Big Picture is part of the Boston Globe. It is news in pictures. There is always a staggering amount of emotion in it. especially since it covers news. I love his pictures because I still get updated with world headlines minus the long boring articles.

The Satorialist-http://thesartorialist.blogspot.com/
This is actually more of a fashion blog but since it has minimum words, I've always thought of it as a photoblog. I love this site because with it i can learn about different people and their sense of style.

How to start you're day wrong

Wanna know how to start your day wrong??

Here's a few tips:

  1. Forget to set up your alarm.
  2. Wake up late.
  3. Take a very brief, very cold shower.
  4. Linger on deciding what to wear because you don't have any!
  5. Eat a breakfast you don't like.
  6. Be scolded for being late.
  7. Fall in a long line at the MRT and LRT ticket booths
  8. Be elbowed by unloading passengers.
  9. Sit/Stand next to a ill-smelling person on the train.
  10. Chase the opening of the doors of the train.
  11. Forget your school id.
  12. Attend your first class on time only to find out its free cut and find out your next class is 6 hours away.
  13. Remind yourself of all the work you have to do that day.
 Thought: Nakarelate ka noh??!!

Cause it fell

Ever had something fall on you? Literally?
Well I had. And it hurt.
So one day, me and a friend was walking home, when it suddenly fell on my shoulder and then went to fall on my friend's feet, just as we where passing by its trunk.
Didn't even know what that thing was.But it sure was hard and heavy!
A week ago, we passed the same tree and i thought to take pictures of it.

Still in its tree

On the ground
Thought: Anybody know what the hell fell on me????
